MEET OUR AMAZING TEAM

Perry Clark

Owner P&L | Regional Sales Manager
Perry has been married for thirty years to his amazing wife Lisa. Together they have five children and seven grandchildren. He has been in the insurance industry for twenty-six of those years. Additionally, he is a local boy, growing up in Williston, Florida. His immediate and extended family is within 30 miles totaling close to a hundred people. This allows him to be uniquely qualified to answer questions about suitability for some of the obstacles and benefits that are specific to the clients in our designated area.

Perry believes that businesses can only be successful based on the relationships that are cultivated with everyone he comes in contact with. That includes not only the clients but the vendors, the governmental agencies, the neighbors, his employees, and the community. You never know if the person you are going to meet next will become your next client or your next employee, or if you could be theirs. Relationships are the most important part of any situation, family, careers, neighborhoods, communities, politics, and even conflict resolution.

I was born in Massachusetts and moved to South Florida when I was young. Being a country girl, I grew up riding horses and playing on the beach in Delray Beach but moved to Gainesville as a teenager. I went to Trenton High School and helped in our family business. This gave me the desire to own my own business. After I married at a young age my focus was on my five children. As they approached school age, I began homeschooling my children and helped run a floral and catering business. We moved to Indiana in the early ’90s. I managed restaurants as the children were finishing high school and heading to college or the military and when they all fled the nest, I started my insurance business. But with Florida in my blood, we moved back to Gainesville to help our parents in 2015 and I move my insurance business here. I ran into American Senior Benefits and I knew this was a great fit for me.

I was married 43 years when my husband Tim passed away suddenly. We did get to go on his dream vacation to Australia for our 40th wedding anniversary. All 5 children are married, and I now have 13 grandchildren. I have been involved in several community services over the years, from helping young families to helping young ladies in an unplanned pregnancy situation. I have been part of HomeSchool support groups and helping feed people with financial needs. I have also had the privilege of traveling to other countries on a mission and medical trips through our church in each location we have lived.

In my Insurance business, my goals have been to develop relationships with people in my community by creating a service of an excellence standard and by being an expert in the areas of the insurance industry my clients need direction in.

In 2015 an opportunity presented itself in the Insurance business. To tell the truth, I was not really interested in sales. It was explained to me that ASB had a different focus. The Focus was on helping people. Advising what pitfalls lay ahead and providing solutions. The beauty of our company is we have such a large tool kit to provide the solutions at the most economical price.

I find that my position as a Comprehensive Retirement Consultant is an extension of my Deacon responsibilities. I feel an ownership in the protection of my clients and prospects just as strong as the one if feel for the people in my church. I like to think that I put 100% into both
